Plot Summary:
Angels are dispatched from heaven to inspire people who are at a crossroads in their lives. Monica, an angel who at times still needs some guidance with her earthly assignments, reports to Tess, her tough, wise, and always loving supervisor. Joining them is Andrew, who, in addition to his duties as the Angel of Death, helps out as a caseworker on various assignments. The angels may not bring answers to every problem, but they always deliver a message of hope.

Whoopi's humor with funny takes on the experience of Arabs and Persians in the US since 9/11, black wannabes who are white, white wannabes who are black, older women and sex, and women as bosses makes for a hilarious thirty minutes. Even Slavs get a friendly dig in the ribs through the character of the hotel maid. Any show that can make me laugh about this country since 9/11 has got my vote! Whoopi slipped in wry jokes about current politics and tackled touchy subjects with grace. The only problem with the show is that it was too short. As the credits rolled by we always wished there were thirty minutes more. I'd love it if the show got a second chance so we could hear Whoopi's comments on post Katrina politics. - gcowa from United States
